Acadia English Professor Kevin Whetter introduced author Cameron Royce
Jess, who read from his H.R. Bill Percy Award-winning novel "Soul Voyage"
as part of the Authors @ Acadia Series. In addition to reading a chapter from
the novel, Cameron answered questions on the stories and characters as well
as the craft of writing.

Cameron Royce Jess read from his award-winning novel "Soul Voyage" as part of the monthly gathering of the Hantsport Historical Society. A question and answer session followed the reading. The author was also available to sign copies of the novel, which is based on the life of Joshua Slocum, a Nova Scotian who famously became the first person in recorded history to sail alone around the world (1895-1898)!

2 p.m. - Colchester County Historical Society Museum, 29 Young Street, Truro,
Nova Scotia.

"Soul Voyage," an award-winning novel by author Cameron Royce Jess, was
featured. The event was hosted by the Colchester County Historical Society. Cameron read from his H.R. Bill Percy Award-winning novel, which is based on the life of Joshua Slocum. At the conclusion of the reading Cameron answered questions posed to him by the audience and signed copies of the novel.

Join author Cameron Royce Jess as he takes his award-winning novel "Soul Voyage" to Pictou County! The novel is predicated on the life of Joshua Slocum, first person to sail alone around the world (1895-1898). The H.R. Bill
Percy Award-winning story covers Slocum's entire life, including flashbacks to his childhood in Nova Scotia and high sea adventures with his first wife, Virginia Walker. A question and answer session will follow the reading, to be followed by book signings. Everyone is welcome!

Brier Island, Digby County, Nova Scotia was the site of much of Joshua Slocum's childhood experiences. Cameron Royce Jess, author of Soul Voyage, an award-winning novel based on Slocum's life, will be the guest of the Admiral Digby Library and Historical Society. Cameron will bring to life a chapter of the novel, after which time he will be glad to field questions from those assembled and later to sign copies of the novel itself for all who wish.
Admission is free and all are welcome!

A town with a long-standing nautical heritage will host a reading by Cameron
Royce Jess, author of "Soul Voyage," an award-winning novel based on the life
of Joshua Slocum, first person to successfully circumnavigate the globe
(1895-1898). The event is being staged by the Yarmouth County Historical
Society. Following the reading Cameron will answer questions and be available
to sign copies of the novel. All are welcome!

"Soul Voyage," an award-winning novel by Cameron Royce Jess, will be featured as part of the annual Commodore's Reception at the Silver Fox Yacht Club. The novel is based on the life of Maritimer Joshua Slocum, who from 1895 to 1898, became the first person in recorded history to sail alone around the world. The invitation to attend this event is extended to anyone in the greater Summerside area and from anywhere else for that matter! After the reading, Cameron will entertain questions from all those in attendance, as well as be available to sign personalized copies of "Soul Voyage" for all who wish.

Theatre Antigonish will host a reading by award-winning author Cameron Royce Jess. Joshua Slocum, a Nova Scotian who sailed into history by becoming the initial person to sail alone around the world (1895-1898) encompasses the subject matter as Jess reads from his H.R. Bill Percy Award-winning novel "Soul Voyage." Well-known author Sheldon Currie ("Margaret's Museum" and "Down the Coaltown Road") will introduce Jess to the Bauer Theatre audience. A question and answer session will follow the reading. The author will also be available to sign copies of "Soul Voyage" for all who wish.
